Dr. Rizvia Khan

BSC(Hons) MBChB FRCGP, DFFP(08) PGCert (TIPC) MRCPath(ME)

Hello! In 2015, after realising that medical admission support for prospective medical students, including my own son, was not at the standard it could be, I founded Med School Entry (formerly MBBS Admissions UK). Almost a decade later, with my Partner, Dr Afrosa Ahmed, MSE has grown to include over 3000 prospective medical and dental students across the UK and internationally. We aim to address and support ALL areas of the medical admissions journey, from beginning to end, without compromising on the highest standards we hold ourselves. We are passionate about addressing educational inequalities, such that all our webinars have always been free or heavily discounted to Widening Access students. Our webinars, UCAT tutoring and interview coaching, year on year have been hugely successful and details can be found on our website including the huge number of testimonials from our students across the world. So, just a bit about me. I have been working clinically as a GP for the last 20+ years and a Dr for over 27 years. I currently work in a number of fields encompassing Senior Leadership roles in NHS England and WTE (Workforce Training and Education). I am also South London Lead for Appraisal and Revalidation as well as a Pan London NHSE Appraiser. I was recently the Heath Equity Focused Learner Expansion Lead (South-West London ICS) and the Associate Dean Health Education England Return to Practice Scheme Lead. I led on the CAPS (Clinical Apprenticeship Placement Scheme for Refugee Doctors) and a Medical Examiner St Helier’s Hospital Surrey (sessional). I have been an Interviewer and OSCE Examiner St Georges University London and Queen Mary University London (Bart’s) and Founder and Chair of the SW London CPD Group. I also run a number of online educational platforms across the country. In my spare time (yes, I do have some!!) I love to cook and just chill with my 4 kids, husband and my wonderful friends and family. I have been honoured and privileged over the last 2 years to have had the opportunity to an Official Hajj Dr and Guide Dr for the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia (KSA) via Nusuk- the official worldwide Hajj Platform. I have always believed in the phrase “work hard- play hard” and to never give up on your dreams. At MSE, we will help you to make your dreams a reality.

Hi my name is Eve and I am a first-year medical student at the University of Oxford. I am very passionate about medicine and science, and love to help others on their journey into medicine. I achieved 3250, Band 1 in my UCAT and have many tried and tested methods and tips to pass on which helped my success. Apart from my degree, I have been acting professionally and dancing for around 10 years, so I understand the tricky balance for many people applying for medicine, and still wanting to maintain their hobbies. I achieved A*A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths respectively I achieved 10 A*s in GCSE

I`m a fourth-year student at Imperial College London studying Medicine. When teaching, I like to ensure that my students deeply understand the topics they cover before moving on to exam practice questions, which is the best way to test their knowledge and see what they have understood and haven`t. I have over 100 hours of tutoring experience. I already have plenty of experience in tutoring and being a mentor for students, giving personalised feedback so that the student understands what to expect and improve, these being the small things that can make the difference between whether a student is accepted or not. I achieved A*A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, respectively, and 10 A*s in GCSE. I was involved in a program teaching primary school students multiple subjects, including KS3 Maths, English, and Sciences, and I was a GCSE biology and physics mentor, My UCAT score was in the 1st decile, top 10% of that year group. I applied to Imperial, UCL, KCL and Bristol and received all offers from all 4.

Hi, I'm Salik, a medical student at Imperial College London. I know first-hand how challenging the journey to medical school can be, and I'm here to make it easier for students to navigate the process. I took five A-Levels and achieved top grades: Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*), Physics (A), Mathematics (A), and Psychology (A). For over two years, I've tutored GCSE and A-Level students in these subjects, helping them build confidence, deepen their understanding, and excel in exams. Having worked with Imperial College School of Medicine Admissions, including UCAT Tutoring and delivering UCAT tutorials for them, I have direct insight into what they're looking for in applicants, which allows me to help students play to their strengths and secure their place in medical school I know that applying to medicine can feel overwhelming, but my goal is to make it as manageable and stress-free as possible. Whether it's simplifying complex topics or providing honest feedback, I'm here to support students every step of the way.
